One Day Meditation Immersion With Mul Mantra

Join us live in person or on zoom to experience 6 hours of chanting in one day to go deep into the Naad. Amrita Devmeet and Khushbir are leading the day of meditation. We will provide kitcheree for lunch, and yogi tea after.

This 8-hour meditation workshop will help to penetrate through the unconscious mind to access your rich, conscious awareness.

The workshop will include some physical activity to prepare the body, relaxation, and meditation. You will have an opportunity to connect with other people and share your experience with the group.

We will do 2 Japa (mantra repetition sessions) for 3 hours each.  You will be instructed to sit up straight, keep the body still, eyes focused on the 3rd eye, hands in Gian mudra, elbows straight, meditate.  Chant powerfully from the navel point, bringing the mind back each time you notice it wandering, minimize distracting discomfort that disturbs the quality of the meditation.  Take short breaks if needed to go to the restroom or walk and chant while meditating in the room.  Make the 3 hours the deepest meditation experience you can, deeply listening inside and outside, and stilling the mind.  Take care of the body as you meditate. If discomfort is causing distraction, try equalizing your awareness, bringing the mind back to focus.  If that doesn’t work, adjust your posture without breaking the meditative focus. Short walking and chanting meditation sessions and or bathroom breaks can make the time sitting more beneficial than sitting in discomfort that disturbs the meditative focus.  Do not cause injury or aggravate an injury.  It is ok to sit in a chair.  Use as many props as needed to sit comfortably with the spine in the best alignment for you.

Mul Mantra is the first chant written by Guru Nanak and contains the entire vibration of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. This is the holy book written by 30 authors in states of deep devotion and love of the Divine. This book is for all people, and is where most of our mantras in kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan come from. Mul Mantra is a key to consciousness evolution, mapping the soul creation and enlightenned state. It connects you to the infinite truth. This mantra cleanses the consciousness correcting misleading ideas and helps us see the truth. Mul mantra repetition helps us experience God as one existing in all things, all beings and ourselves. Sat Nam.

Experienced Kundalini Yogis may find some similarities between this workshop and White Tantric Yoga or a day of the 21 stages of meditation.

This is a deep-dive into your natural meditative state, which can serve as a powerful and healing endeavor for all levels of Kundalini Yoga experience.
