Raj Giandeep

I started my spiritual path with silent meditation back around 2009. In 2013 I attended my first Kundalini Yoga class without really knowing what it was. After my first class I felt different in a way I have never have experienced prior. I can not end a day without doing Kundalini Yoga. Things started to change very quickly once I started to practice a daily sadhana. In 2014 I went through Kundalini Yoga Level 1 teacher training & it truly changed my life. Been teaching ever since then & love it!

Kundalini Yoga & Gong / Quotes by Rumi at Sunset @ Scott Avenue Park
Jun 26 @ 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Kundalini Yoga & Gong / Quotes by Rumi at Sunset @ Scott Avenue Park | Millcreek | Utah | United States

You can come to both events or just 1. Whatever you desire. Usually meet in the south part of the open grass area. Alternative location if needed would be here in the park. Just follow the trail around the park.

6 – 7 PM (Kundalini Yoga with gong) -> Donation (Cash or Venmo)
7 – 8 PM (Quotes by Rumi at Sunset) -> Free

Come join us, where we can be safely apart, yet together. Listening to the beloved quotes of rumi from beautiful recordings with music in the background I’ve found. This is free, just come sit or lay down & listen. I’ll have 2 speakers that I can sync up & place them far apart. But they will be loud enough for everyone to hear clearly.

Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi, the 13th century mystic poet, was truly one of the most passionate and profound poets in history. Now, today his presence still remains strong, due in part to how his words seem to drip of the divine, and startle a profound remembrance that links all back to the Soul-Essence.

Below is a video of the beautiful evenings during 2020.

Feedback from the Rumi events from 2020:

I love being immersed in the inspiration of Rumi. I’m so grateful for Raj who mindfully creates the sacred experience with deep reverence and beauty.

Tej Saroop Kaur

In my busy, complicated, and sometimes crazy life, I rarely take the time to slow down and feed my soul. Then I went to Rumi in the park, a wonderful, relaxing experience where I could lay down, and listen to beautiful, uplifting poetry while in a peaceful, outdoor setting. Laying on the grass, looking at the clouds overhead and watching the sun set in the West calmed my spirit and lifted my soul. Spiritual poetry coupled with beautiful music seeped into every fiber of my being-relaxing and rejuvenating it at the same time. I highly recommend taking time to attend this wonderful event. You deserve it!
