Hi, I am Erin Spjute AKA Siri Gian Kaur-Kundalini Yoga Instructor. I am a lover of yoga and all things that bring the mind, body, and soul into harmony, balance, and unity! I have been doing Kundalini Yoga since 2009. It has transformed my life in ways I never thought possible. I suffered from neck pain for over a year. I had tried several medications to alleviate the pain. But nothing was helping so I decided to try yoga. After 3 classes my neck pain was no longer there. You can imagine how surprised I was. Little did I know the vastness of what was to come. A journey of awakening, transformation, and blessings.
In 2014, I completed the 200 hour KRI International Level 1 Instructor Certification Course in Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. In 2015, I completed the Conscious Communication level 2 Certification Course. The healing and self awareness that Kundalini yoga provided me is unlike anything I have ever experienced. My life is forever changed and I am continually grateful. I look forward to teaching you this tool and being part of your journey on this transformative path. Kundalini yoga is the yoga of awareness. It awakens one to their divinity, creative potential, and true self. The word kundalini literally means “the curl of the lock of hair of the beloved.” It is a metaphor, a poetic way of describing the flow of energy and consciousness which already exists within each one of us. The easiest way to understand kundalini is to acknowledge the universal spirit, sometimes referred to as God. God uncoils him/her/itself within you. This uncoiling process, as well as the energy derived from the process, is called kundalini. What is uncoiling and awakening is you, nothing more and nothing less. It is a normal capacity within each of us that most people are not utilizing. I could go on and on about the many benefits of kundalini yoga, but the best way to understand it, is to experience it. It is my desire to share this practice with all that may benefit from it. “In Kundalini Yoga the most important thing is your experience. It goes right to your heart.
